M51-Whirlpool Galaxy, taken during 6 consecutive nights between 4 May and 9 May 2018
M51 is an interacting grand-design spiral galaxy. It lies in the constellation Canes Venatici, and was the first galaxy to be classified as a spiral galaxy. Its distance is approx 35 million light-years from the Earth.
